About us

In collaboration with the specialist Substance Use Team based in the Public Health Department of Derbyshire County Council, the "Your Digital Journey" website and training programme, a collaboration between Elastic FM Limited and the "Your Choices Matter" initiative, is specifically designed to support individuals in Derbyshire who are recovering from drug and alcohol dependency. The programme's structure is intentionally comprehensive yet simple, offering a valuable opportunity to acquire new digital skills. Participants are also given the space to express themselves creatively and, if they feel comfortable, share their personal recovery stories, fostering a sense of community and support.

Our mission

Our mission is to empower individuals in Derbyshire recovering from addiction. Through accessible digital skills training, we aim to build confidence, foster creativity, and provide a platform for sharing recovery stories. We strive to create a supportive community, enabling participants to reconnect and thrive in their digital lives.

Our vision

Our vision is a future where countless individuals, empowered by digital skills, secure fulfilling employment. We aspire to a legacy of shared recovery stories through radio, podcasts, and videos. We aim to showcase a long list of participants who have thrived, demonstrating the transformative power of "Your Digital Journey".

Our team

The "Your Digital Journey" team boasts extensive experience in marketing and digital content creation. Our experts include a former professional radio presenter with over 30 years in commercial and community broadcasting. We also have specialists proficient in diverse digital tasks, and team members who provide engaging online tasters, ensuring prospective participants understand the programme's content and discover areas of interest. All team members are patient, responsible, and caring community citizens. Furthermore, experienced radio presenters are available to support individuals in creating their own music radio programmes, whether as one-off projects or ongoing series.
